Leaving Delilah and Leon behind to work through their problems chase and I make our way back to our room. The night I was born it was said to be a blood moon the whole pack was anticipating the arrival of the first born alpha heir to the midnight crescent pack. My father was a likeable man very humble and noble, strong and fierce. one who put our pack above all. We were a strong pack of 4000 nearly double the size of the average pack but we were thriving and doing very well for ourselves. His leadership gave us an admirable reputation that most packs inspired and desired to have allowing many alliances with in the shifter world. The trio 8 years old.. Today we spent the day with the four supernatural fractions leaders and heirs. My father thinks that having alliances and knowing the vampires, fae, elves and witches will pave the way for a better future and help during the war that is not spoken of outside our little circle. Father doesn’t want to alarm our pack or the shifter community with this information he wants everyone to live fulfilling lives and not constantly worry about impending doom. While the parents did whatever the parents do while together the five of the leaders families are together us children were always taking part in warrior training it was a monthly thing for us our parents thought it was best to grow up together and learn each other’s strengths and weakness during battle so we could learn to work together. Trio aged 10… It was a few years since I had seen his angry red eyes watching me although I had not seen him since I was eight when I was at the base with Colton and Destin I still had that eerie feeling of being watched in time and Colton’s comforting words I learnt to live with that feeling and pay no attention to it. Today included the twins and I were on the first platform before the second set of stairs leading to the tree house cottage. It was a nice spring day so the boys bought down the fishing gear and were fishing into the stream from the first floor platform it was one of the few things they enjoyed to do fishing was not a big wolf thing but the boys liked it even though they didn’t catch much. 16 year old trio.. Our personal training session has been nothing short of torture. But it has paid off Colton Destin and I are are the best skilled warriors in our pack how do I know this because we still have to partake in pack training sessions while we have been pretty segregated from the pack for the majority we still partake in all pack activities and attend our pack high school. We have friendships outside the trio but having guards with us 24/7 and our extra training puts a strain on the friendships. Destin has his warrior and typical jock friends Destin has his group of friends while I have mine. We also kind of merged our friendships as we prefer to stick together we have a group that all hangs out together to eat lunch with. I don’t get to do the things Sophie and maddy do like going shopping together or trips to the movies I do not feel any less apart of the group but I would like to join them on teenage experiences just once in a while outside of the pack house. While we drive the forty minutes to the high school campus both Colton and I pull out our schedules we have five classes today and have two together. I don’t mind though because the other three classes I have with either Delilah, Alvin, Marisha or Karla. Makes me feel better knowing I have someone with me for my first day the F5 group chat has been blowing up since Colton let it slip we were starting today I did say we should have just surprised them. The F5 group chat is four other fraction alliances the shifters making the 5th fraction so F5 meaning fraction 5. We only have our age group in the F5 chat although we do have a group chat with all 17 of us heirs in it should we need to make contact between all of us that is a pretty dead chat but the F5 is always thriving apart from Destin and Karla who actively do not take part in the chat unless necessary. The group chats keeping me and Colton occupied and before we know it we have arrived. The building is a giant 1800s style castle

By now the whole class has taken a break and crowded around us on the mat. As we take our stance I take the time to assess his stance and any minor faults I can visibly notice without assessing his technique. The whistle blows and he gets straight to it and as expected comes straight at me swinging which I effortlessly duck and weave while jabbing him in the ribs while I do. he lacks stamina because Lucas is already getting short of breath and is acting out of anger and using very little technique. The teacher blows the whistle and declares my win everyone starts to cheer when I hear a growl and some commotion behind me where I not to long ago left Lucas on his back in defeat. Chases strides are long and fast and I’m all but jogging to keep up. It was the first time I could truly take in his appearance up close his long black hair was slicked back, the skinny ripped Jeans looked as though they could combust with all the muscle underneath them. His v neck black shirt clung nicely to his sculptured body with tribal tattoos up both arms the only colour on him was the long sleeved red checkered shirt tied around his waste. His eyes were dark brown almost black and his dimple would make anyone melt. I cleared my throat and found the courage to speak “um thanks for helping out with Lucas today I hope you didn’t get in too much trouble” Chase threw his head back and let out a laugh. “Trouble is my middle name.. besides now we are even you saved me all those years ago I was only returning the favour” He suddenly stops in front of a door opens it and struts inside. I briefly glance at the door number to confirm this is my class I look into the class to see Alvin
