the Changes

Brooklyn's POV:

This change was out of people's expectations, the night was so silent, the moon was still hidden in the clouds behind, and everyone became frozen in the same place, but Lucy reluctantly grabbed her arm.

"Because I have a son whose brain is full of love, and I don't need another one."

Kate pulled her hand back while blood spilled from Lucy's body, quickly staining the whole hill red.
