Chapter 8

 

 

"Are you ready?" Auggie asked.

 

"Yes," I replied. We used the same earphones and entered The Yarn.

"Did you notice something different?" I asked. Something was wrong, we were in the woods, and it was my first time to see a cliff. There was no cliff in that part of The Yarn before.

"Maybe the Dot did it." We went near it, and it was not a cliff, but it was a sinkhole.

"Oh my goodness," I muttered. I couldn’t believe it. The Yarn was untangling itself.

"We have to go," Auggie uttered. You could clearly see the trees falling down across the hole. It was getting wider and wider, and it was devouring everything.

"We have to stop it Auggie. This is my home and I don't want to let the Dot ruin everything." He pulled me away from the hole when a crack suddenly emerged. We stayed far from it.

"Please," I begged.

"We will stop the Dot together." He hugged me and tried to comfort me, but I was still worried that I won't be able to enter again. I feel wea
