"Sorry, Theo.”

"I couldn't blame you. At least, I know when you are lying or not," he said, drying off his face with a tissue. "So, how did you meet?"

I cleared my throat, and I rested my back on the walls of the old bathroom.

"He found me, lying unconscious in the children's park," I said. If I puke every time I lie on his face, he would be worried about my situation. I only lie when I don't want someone to worry about me.

"I am not living in my aunt's house anymore. Auggie let me stay in his parents’ house." Theo went beside me, resting his back on the walls.

"What about your fresh bruises?"

"Because of Aunt Maria. She was just protecting her daughter." I couldn't blame Aunt Maria. If I was in her situation, I would do exactly the same. I always protect the people that I love. I don't care if their burdens transfer on me, as long as they're happy.

"By the way, I want to show this short poem that I wrote last night. Let me know what you think." He handed me the
