I had no idea how Lucius felt about this, but what I found extremely fascinating was how the old man spoke about Eden. He sounded amazed and scared shitless at the same time.

Sure, I wasn’t the best person to judge one’s character without massive amounts of information, but I could have sworn that he was just as clueless about what this ‘special’ trait was as we were.

“And?” Lucius broke the silence, urging the old man to tell us more.

The grunt that left him clearly was a proof of his unwillingness to tell us more, not that Lucius cared anyway.

“Richard, we are done playing games. It is our mate you are talking about, Titus and I deserve to know what’s so special about Eden and exactly why that creature is after her.”

My eyes darted between them two as I imagined an intense tennis match. The ball went from one side of the court to the other, never reaching the ground or the white lines surrounding them. At this rate, this imaginary match could go on for ages.

The chapter length hasn't changed at all, love. I try to keep them around the same word count, but I suppose I could write some longer ones too. Also, I'm trying to cover everything so no one would be angry at me for rushing. I'll keep you in mind when I write next chapters xxx

Wish we got more info and longer updates to know what’s going on as since the 3 of them got home before Eden went to kill her step mum and sister the updates are short and the plot doesn’t really move on at all when u are paying for chapters u do hope for just a little more x
