Chapter 10

Roxanne

I grab the waffle. I wanted that yesterday. I had the craving to eat it yesterday but I can't be ungrateful if he has got this for me. Besides, it looks tempting.

I take a first bite and a moan ripples through me. With the chunks still in my mouth I turn towards him to find his eyes already on me.

Whenever I find his eyes on me, I always get nervous.

“Um, where did you get this from? It's very good." I say.

“My chef made it. If you want he will be happy to make more for you, since I don't eat those things he rarely gets to make it." I nod my head as I take another bite.

“Why don't you come and live with me? In that way you can have these everyday." I look at him with a straight face.

Without giving him an answer I got back to eating.

“God, I am full." I say, to no one in particular.

“Who wouldn't be?" I send a glare to Isaac. With a dramatic flick of my hair, I get on my feet. I eye the mess made by me. Bending, I start collecting the cardboards.
