My phone pinges with a notification. Instantly I strike for it. I grab it and see the message of Pierson. With bated breath I opened it.

‘Watch the news.’ The message quoted.

I started looking for the remote. I get irritated when I don't find it anywhere. Being impatient I start thrashing the room. Leven steps away from me.

I find the remote in the drawer of the night stand. I clench the remote.

I had bought Pierson back at the mansion and in the confines of the room I had let her make a video of me revealing each and everything. Unlike in the past, this time I didn't hide anything. I told each and everything.

It was hard at first. Every word uttered by me made me relive those moments once again. It was like I was living them again, struggling every breath as every pain and fear resurfaced. With every word I found myself struggling in that mansion.
