CHAPTER SEVEN

"WAS IT good?" alanganing tanong ni Hussain kay Tymo na mukhang nag-iisip.

Kakatapos lang nilang mag rehearse. She memorized the whole script last night, and she knew she still somehow lacks of emotion when delivering it.

Tymo tilted his head. "It was okay, Sain, but I need more emotions, you think you can do that?" tanong nito.

"I'll do that, can you give me some tips?"

His brown eyes met her green ones. "Try putting yourself in the protagonist's shoes. Think of her as you, are you ready?"

She took a deep breath. "Alright, from the top!"

Their rehearsal continued until they lose track of time. Hussain kept thinking that she's the protagonist, and it worked well on their repeated takes.

"You did great, ang bilis mo rin matuto." Tymo said and patted her head.

Tymo guided her very well and patiently lalo na noong lagi siyang nagkakamali sa pag acting. Kahit ilang beses siyang nagkamali, never siyang sinigawan o inismiran ni Tymo.

He just showed her what to do and patiently looking at her rehearsed their piece.

"We can rehearse again the day before the presentation. Kain na muna tayo ngayon." biglang sabi ni Tymo sakanya.

She immediately got her phone to look at the time, seven forty. Late na rin pala, they started their rehearsal thirty minutes after they had breakfast together. Then, they had their break at twelve noon to eat lunch, thirty minutes again before they resumed.

"What's for dinner?" tanong niya kay Tymo na nag-aayos ng lamesa.

Tymo glanced at her. "Chinese food, ayos lang ba sayo?" tanong nito.

She smiled at him at lumapit na para tulungan itong mag-ayos. He's been very considerate about her, he always asks her if she's comfortable, if it's okay with her kaya sobrang natutuwa siya rito. A guy like him is very rare.

The doorbell rang. "Ako na lang kukuha, Tymo." sabi niya at agad na tumakbo papuntang pinto.

She paid for the food and smiled at Tymo.

"Dapat ako na nagbayad n'yan." naiiling na anito sakanya at tinulungan siyang buhatin ang mga plastic.

"You've been paying for our foods kanina pa, and besides I eat din naman kaya dapat magbayad din ako. Give and take." natatawang sabi niya at naghain na.

Tymo just nodded at her while smiling. Hussain said it na walang pagyayabang o inis sa boses nito, she just said it as if it's a fact, and it should be one of the laws.

"Kapag may part ka na nahihirapan, don't hesitate to call me. Marami pang room para sa improvement mo." ani ni Tymo habang nagsisimula na itong kumain.

"Oo naman, this is actually the first time that I acted kaya hindi ko pa gaanong gamay kung anong gagawin at paano mag deliver ng tama, but thanks to you, I know what to do na. Siguro, I need to practice rin every time na may free time ako para mas mag improve ako, no?" Hussain beamed at him.

Tymo nodded. "Yes, practice every time tapos keep in mind lang na ikaw 'yung bida kaya kailangan mong magaya ang ugali ng character mo."

They continued chatting while eating, Tymo gave her a lot of advices about acting and emotions.

Pagkatapos nilang kumain, Tymo cleaned the table while she tidied the trash.

"I'll drive you home, Hussain."

"Yep yep, that's what I told my older brothers kaya dapat lang talaga. They trust you because you're kuya Tyson's brother." aniya.

Tymo chuckled. "What if I'm not his brother? Would they trust me?" he asked curiously.

Hussain shook her head. "Nope, one hundred percent no. Malamang hinatid nila ko tapos nagbantay sila rito kahit busy din sila sa work." natatawang aniya.

Her older brothers is very protective towards her especially that she's their only princess.

"What was your first impression to me?" out of nowhere na tanong ni Tymo bago ito tumabi sakanya.

"Hmm... I thought you were a snob and an arrogant, maybe cold because of your facial expression tapos para kang walang pakialam." she replied, slightly teasing him.

"Really, huh?"

She nodded at him while smiling.

"Oo nga! I also thought you were rude, you have an aura of a bad boy kasi. Ikaw ba? Ano first impression mo sakin?"

"Intimidating, masungit, cold, and strict. You have this resting bitch face kaya akala ko talaga." Tymo replied while shaking his head.

Hussain pouted. "Do I really give off that vibes? Lagi na lang 'yan ang first impression sakin kahit sinong tatanungin mo." sambit niya.

"You do, but it's the total opposite of you, lalo na kapag nakasama ka na at naka-bonding. You're very open and bubbly pero may times din na parang ayaw mo ng kausap, you were silent at times pero it was comforting, ewan ko ba." pagpapaliwanag ni Tymo sakanya.

"Baka naman crush mo na ko n'yan ha!" pagbibiro niya at tumawa.

"What if I really have a crush on you?" seryosong sabat nito sakanya.

She looked at him and gasped. "What do you mean?" nalilitong tanong niya.

Tymo just smirked at her and shook his head. "Nothing, Hussain. Forget what I said, hatid na kita?" pag-iiba nito ng topic nila.

She awkwardly smiled at him and nodded.

When they entered his car, hindi alam ni Hussain pero ramdam niya ang awkwardness sa pagitan nila. They remained silent until Tymo decided to turn on the radio of his car.

A familiar song filled her ears. It was End Up Here by Five Seconds of Summer, one of her favorite bands. She started humming and singing along.

Tymo glanced at her. "You know that song?"

"Yeah, it's one of my favorites, actually." sabi niya at tinuloy na ang pagkanta.

Suddenly, Tymo started to sing along with her.

Hussain glanced at him and smiled. "You know the band too?" manghang tanong niya.

Tymo nodded. "Yeah, favorite ko rin at 'yang kanta na 'yan pinaka-gusto ko sa lahat." sabi nito sakanya.

As Tymo drives her home, they continued to sing along through his playlist full of the band's songs. The awkwardness between them is finally gone.
