The next few months were a whirlwind of activity. Her morning sickness had disappeared at the start of her second trimester. The house was completely furnished thanks to Kyle threatening everyone to get his way, and the wedding was in two days. Surprisingly, she was calm and relaxed while her husband to be had completely lost it.

"Kerryanne, get down from there. Are you nuts?" She rolled her eyes and stepped down from the mini ladder. She'd climbed up to fix the corner of the curtain, thinking he was busy in his new home office. The man was a tyrant. Every afternoon, he made her take a nap whether she needed one or not. He made her breakfast, lunch, and dinner because the smell of food still made her nauseous, and he was like a bodyguard whenever they left the house.
