Born Again The DREAM I had
Saint or Sinner. Rich or Poor. Black or White. We all have dreams. However, a dream will always remain a dream until you make it visionary. Those words came about in my thoughts as I was wondering about this dream- a given dream to be precise. My parents, mom, to be specific, would always tell me that in the future they want to see me as a Doctor of this family; I`d always smile and say no word hence it remained a dream, simply because I cared less about it. It wasn’t my dream after all. I was young and confused. I didn’t know why they wanted me to be a Doctor, neither did they know- they would have told me! Came this day at school, when the principal caught us making hilarious moves on top of the desks. That pissed her off. Sometimes following your dream can feel like a sleepwalking kind of thing. However, if you don’t follow a dream you have, you would be like a dog barking without biting. So one shouldn’t cry to give up but cry to keep going. One shouldn’t cry to quit because you are already in it, rather find a way and benefit out of it. Nothing matters like maintaining the situation. Time went by, and I was in grade4. It was our first day at school after the December holidays, and the Clever- Learner didn't pitch up at school. After noticing that she wasn’t at school, my mood changed and I got a weird feeling. Something should have happened to her. This is so unlike her. A friend is supposed to be someone you know well and like. Someone who always supports the best in you. A person who has the same interests and opinions as yours. If I can have someone like that in my life, I`ll get a clearer picture of the path I really need to take. But who could it be? I once had a friend, I wouldn’t say I knew him well and like him. I am now in grade7, yet I haven’t got something promising about my dream. My brother is not here to take me to that Old man`s laboratory. Maybe my brother was right, maybe I am too young to be here. Ever since I`ve been outside home I`ve done nothing good rather than bad. The power of the key became stronger than I could imagine. I`d kill to give it away, I just can’t hold it anymore. They say God created this world and its people. They say He wanted nothing but peace towards his people. But what was he thinking? How dare He create us, alone, without a mother? I mean how would we have peace amongst us in a place without a mother`s love? Only she knows what peace is, that’s why without her presence, peace became an unknown word and every human had to live for themselves, from their own sweat. Born Again Hypocrisy
A few days later, on a Saturday noon- few hours before sunset, I decided to visit the Wise-thug at his house. I wanted to tell him about the incident, but as I was on my way to his place another thought told me not to. He was going to undermine me. When I got there, I found him playing play station 5, with his girlfriend, who was on the fridge grabbing some fruits. “I knew you`ll come back once you run out of cash!” he said, “I hope you used it wisely, did you?” “Let`s not go there, please!” “What happened?" he said, "I need to know.” “I met three of these guys on my way home. They demanded you from me- told me that I should show them where you are or I die. As always, I chose to die." I said, "Hell, they did beat me up, fortunately not to death. When I woke up a few seconds later, I found a gun on the scene, I then went after them. And killed them- all!” “WHAT! Who were they? Are you sure they are dead?”
