“ I am sorry for all that happened but I never thought she would do something like that. I had gone out with her a few times with my other friends but I never gave her the impression that I was interested in her.” He said sincerely.

I was thinking whether I should believe him, as I did not trust him at all didn’t he tell me that he wanted me to be his girlfriend just for namesake. I was confused so I just lowered my head without looking at him.
