Chapter 65: Clues about blood family

Rosalynn’s POV.

On that day, we ventured together to explore numerous tourist spots and streets in San Francisco. It was just the two of us, and Nolan was more than willing to drive me wherever I desired.

Both of us were in sync, not mentioning a word about recent unpleasant events.

As dusk fell upon the city, we stopped by an Asian restaurant for dinner.

“Rosalynn? Babe? Is this dish not to your liking?”

I was awakened by Nolan's call and glanced down at my bowl of Vietnamese Pho. Before I could respond, he handed me the menu, intending to call the waiter to change the dish.

“No, Pho is delicious. It has a refreshing flavor, and the broth is pleasantly sweet. I don't feel nauseous at all.” I grabbed his arm to stop him and placed the menu aside.

The restaurant was designed with an open space concept, and we were seated near the balcony, able to enjoy the bustling streets illuminated by warm yellow lights. Gentle breezes carried the scent of the sea, making me feel incredibly content.
