Chapter Twenty-four

Ouriel catches up at Azrael outside the building. She was stomping her feet as she and Ouriel walks up to a bus that will pass by Beverly Hills, the two of them never commuted or rode a public transit from before but none of them brought their cars so instead of walking, they settled on the shuttle, “You shouldn’t have said that.” Ouriel started when he and Azrael was already on their seats. In front of them was two old men reading newspapers.

“What?” Azrael asked as if she don’t know what he is talking about.

“You said it smugly. You sounded like he owed you his whole existence.” Ouriel said in a low voice because a woman sat beside him.

“Well, doesn’t he? If I let him die in that accident, he wouldn’t be here living like Captain America wanting to save the world.” Azrael said sarcastically.

“You told me, it wasn’t his time yet?” Ouriel queried. Azrael rolled her eyes and Ouriel realizes that it was only Azrael who wants him alive. Ouriel doesn’t have any idea if it’s against the rul
