Chapter Four

Azrael felt she swirled into another unknown dimension but in reality, she is just carried by someone. She looked at the one who lets her go and it was Rogziel.

In a group of five brothers, you can easily distinguish who Rogziel is because of his charcoal black hair that strands fall on his face, droopy nose, and thin mouth. He looked at Azrael with his amber eyes, that doesn’t give you a clue what he was about to say or what he actually feels.

She realizes that her siblings were bulking up around her, she moved back and stretched her hands to hold them back. She saw they are wearing proper human clothes and guessed they were there all day trying to find her.

Azrael laughed under her breath, puts her hands down and said, “What a good way to start a century.” she said snarky, she literally hasn’t seen anyone of them for years, especially Yerachmiel whom she hasn’t saw in probably thousands of years by now and except Ouriel whom she saw before she left.

Remiel stood beside Rogziel, if you wouldn’t ask, you wouldn’t know they’re actually twins. The only thing that looks similar on them was their eyes. Beside Rogziel was Yerachmiel, medium brown hair and brown eyes. He has the same hair length with Rogziel but he has his fixed neatly behind his head.

The one with the brightest face was Ouriel, he looks young but is actually older than Azrael who is the youngest. He has a dark blonde hair, circular face and a sparkling emerald green eyes. He’s the only one who flashes a smile but Azrael gave him a glare.

The last boy was Radeuriel, has clean fringed-up chestnut brown hair and is the tallest and leanest. His ocean blue eyes fits with his long and narrow nose and thin lips that smiles eerily for Azrael. For an Angel, he has a piercing on his left eyebrow and lower lip. They were the Angel of Wrath, Mercy, the Earth, Command and the Archives, respectively.

“Give this up. You know it won’t work.” Yerachmiel said, his voice is set as a quiver.

“Taking this far would only make it worse, Azrael.” Radeuriel added in a warning tone.

Azrael glances at Remiel, her smack left nothing on her angelic face. Azrael spoke and glances at everyone, she steadied her eyes on Yerachmiel, “I told you, no one decides for me.” she said and turned around.

Azrael was astonished when Rogziel ablaze a fire in front of her to stop her from walking out. She took a deep breath, draws the knife she stole from Nae and turned around as quick and graceful, let the knife flew from her hands and directly stabbing Ouriel on his right chest.

All of her siblings was surprised, but stabbing and hurting someone is just another day for them. Because the knife wasn’t forged in Heaven and is a simple knife from supermarkets, it only cuts through Ouriel’s olive skin, “That’s for stabbing me in the back.” she said and stomped her feet and run up to the stairs of what looks like Yerachmiel’s house because it was all candescent and full of greens.

Azrael left her siblings in amazement. Ouriel pulled back the knife from his chest. Yerachmiel snickered, “Told ya, it’s just another tantrum from the baby.” right when he spoke, the tension diminishes and is immediately change into a more pleasant vibe.

For the first time, Rogziel spoke, “Remy told me it was serious.” he said and then looks at Remiel who quickly frowned.

Remiel pointed Radeuriel, “Rad told me Azrael’s gonna kill someone.”

Radeuriel looks baffled as if denying what he said, “Ouriel said so.”

“What!?” Ouriel cried out, his voice so loud it rungs an echo all over the house. He advances to Radeuriel and pointed him with the hilt of the knife Azrael threw at him, “I told you she’s coming here to look for Bernael, not kill him.”

“It’s all the same. She found out about her fate after all.” Radeuriel replied and started walking around the living room. The moon shafts reflected from the glass walls of the room.

“What makes you think Azrael’s gonna kill him?” Rogziel inquired warily.

“Hello? It’s Azrael, no one loves herself more than she does.” Radeuriel said sarcastically. His remarks made Remiel confused while looking at him, Rogziel looks up in the ceiling, Yerach made a face palm and Ouriel burst out laughing. Rad continued, “See? I’m right. Azrael give the meaning of self-love. She coined the word. Everyone should know that.” he said, his face looks annoyed and no one finds it funny, just Ouriel.

“Rad, you know Azrael’s just upstairs or anywhere listening to you.” Remiel said, she crossed her arms on her chest and gave a warning tone.

“I don’t care. She knows what I mean.” Rad replied, he glances at his siblings, “Her fate tells about her doomsday, her eventual fall. Azrael would do anything to stop it. If it means killing someone even she cannot, she would do it. And this doesn’t end here.” Rad said in finality before leaving them and walking out upstairs.

Yerachmiel turned to Rogziel. Among them, the twins were the oldest and the instructions were probably laid down to them, “What does Dad say to you?”

“Stay as long as Azrael stays.” Rogziel replied with a tired voice. He doesn’t like staying or even visiting the human world.

“Do you have a better plan?” Ouriel queried and looks at Yerachmiel. Even he still looks very bubbly, he has a worried look on his face.

“No.” Yerachmiel answered and twitches his mouth, “For now, the only thing I will do is adjust to a life where I have a chaotic family who I haven’t saw for a thousand years.” he looks at Remiel and pats her shoulder, “Let’s just hope that humans are right, that God has bigger plans.”
