Chapter 30

Mariah POV

Everything started spinning suddenly. I felt someone’s arms wrap around my waist, and I stiffened. I turned to tell Logan that I’m okay, but I’m surprised when I see Nick holding me. When did he get here, and where did Logan go? Did Nick hear him confess his love and kick him out? I feel weird, but at least my Alpha is here to take care of me. He brings me out of my thoughts when he asks me if I’m okay.

“I’m okay now that you are here.” I say this and crash my lips against his.

I take him by surprise, and it takes a moment for him to kiss me back, but the minute I unbuckle his pants, something ignites in him, and he grabs the back of my neck and deepens the kiss.
