Chapter 26

Logan POV

I head to my car after having that confrontation with Nick. I can’t believe Mariah played me like that. I knew our relationship wasn’t serious, but I thought I could make her fall in love with me; she is supposed to be mine.

I’m about to get in my car when a familiar voice calls my name. I turn to see Mila jogging towards me.

"Logan, wait up.” Mila calls out.

“Not now, Mila. I’m not in the mood.” I am annoyed.

She grips my hand to prevent me from getting in the car.

“What happened to you?” She asks concern clear in her eyes.

“I don’t want to talk about it; Mila, what do you want?” I reply, and she smirks.

“Let me guess Nick did that for Mariah." She says this and puts a hand on her waist.

I raise an eyebrow. “How did you know where you were spying?” I ask.

“Nope I caught them together too a while ago; I know how you feel, Logan. I felt the same way when I caught them hurt and betrayed.” She says.

I sigh. “I’m sorry you went through that too, Mila.” I say honestly.

“Thank you
