Chapter 8 - Her Past

In an act of instinct he kisses her temple, he feels her body tensed up and she released her hold on him. Which instantly make him regrets his action. He does not want her to be uncomfortable with him.

She takes a step away from him and he anxiously looks at her but she is smiling at him, confirming she is unperturbed with his action and he smiles back at her.

“um-hum” he clear his throat “Shall we have our breakfast?” He ask her which she agrees to.

When they reach the dining room, everyone is apprehensively looking at them but they don’t dare to question them. He pulls a chair for her and once she is settle down he sit for his meal. They all eat in silence until Gordon informed them about the barbecue plan.
