Chapter 38 - The meeting

It has taken a whole day for Nathan to gather Leaders of Lycans' and werewolves' from allies clans for an urgent meeting along with the empire's head of department within the empire. Notably the warriors, guards and medical staffs.

Gordon ran his wary eyes around the packed board room. The tension within the room was so high, it was almost tangible. He could equally feel their circumspect gazes met his and then slid quickly away.

They were sitting at the head table, the rest of the members were sitting in chairs directly facing him, Maxwell, Jim, Nero and Nathan. They were all waiting for Jonathan.

Alpha Trevor met Gordon's gaze and raised an inquiring eyebrow. Gordon briefly nodded at him.

The more he examined the dynamics of the room the more he noted that the Lycan were sitting to the right and werewolves were sitting on the left. There was an invisible divider between them.
