Cyn.
I looked around the surroundings, even the air around here smelt different and fresh. It was like the rich lived in their own different little world.
I had no idea, what to expect. It had been three years since we saw each other. Three years of loneliness and solitude. He never came visit me, not even once.
He never called either, one day I asked one of the matrons for his number, I wanted to call him, ask him how he was doing. But instead i just stared at the number until I fell asleep.
It was difficult at first, but as time went by I got used to it.
"How far out are we?" I asked Paul, the driver who was driving me from the airport. Ace didn't even make the time to come pick me up from the airport, but he was a busy man. What did I really expect? That he would stop what he was doing just to come get me? I have never been that type of girl. The girl anyone makes time for I mean. The nerves were certainly kicking in and my whole body was sweating profusely from parts I didn't even know could realese sweat.
"We are almost there." he said with a soft encouraging smile, as he looked at me through the car window.
I softly smiled back as I looked around our surroundings. We were definitely in the rich suburbs of New York, I could tell just by how far apart and huge the houses were.
" Are you nervous?" Paul asked,
"A little bit."
"You don't have to be, everyone here is welcoming and the are all waiting to meet the madam of the house."
Of Course, how could I forget? I was Mrs Ace Cole which made me the madam of the house. For a moment I had forgotten who he was, and how much money his family had. I had also forgotten that I was his wife given we have never spoken for the past three years.
Paul pulled up to a huge mansion with all black gates and a few seconds late the gates were opened, I looked around as he found a space to park the car. It was like I was in a princess movie.
I stepped out of the car taking in my surroundings; it was like I was in some sort of castle or kingdom. The compound was huge with trees, a flower garden and even its own dam and infinity pool. I guess this was expected, everyone said the the Cole family lived like royalty, I always assumed they exaggerated, but now, I could tell the blogs and magazines did not do this house any justice at all.
"How many people live here?" I asked Paul as he got my bags out, still stunned by the beauty of the house.
"It will be just you and your husband ma'am, and some servants, but they have their servants quarters."he said showing me where the servants quarters was.
" Cyn. " i said absent mindedly.
" What?" Paul asked confused.
" Call me Cyn, I am just Cyn, not ma'am." i said as I started taking a few steps towards the house.
As soon as I opened the front door, the cool breeze hit my face and for a moment it really did feel like I was in heaven.
"Welcome home Mrs Cole." an older woman greeted me with a huge smile. She looked about the same age as m mother would be, if she was still alive.
"Cyn is just fine please."i said as I greeted her.
" I am Alba, your house keeper ma'am, Cyn. " she added correcting herself as she stepped aside for me to walk around.
All the walls were painted pure white with a few pieces of art hanging. The ceilings were high, whoever did the decor nailed it. I walked around, just taking in the decor before she led me upstairs.
"This is your room ma'am, I mean Cyn." she said stuttering, "It will take me some time for me to adjust to calling you Cyn, am sorry." she said apologetically.
"It's okay Alba, don't worry about it." i said as I stepped into the big room.
The room was bigger than the apartment I was living at in Amsterdam, with a walk in closet. All my clothes and shoes were all neatly arranged, and everything well placed where it was supposed to do I didn't even want to know how they did that so fast. I walked to a section that had all types of drssess from gowns to ciloibg dresses, all new with the price tags. I look at one and I almost fainted in horror athow much the dress costs.
"Mr Cole ordered them to be delivered for you. He didn't know what you would like so he had all types be delivered for you to choose from." Alba said before I could even say anything.
There were bag and shoes as well all new, just waiting for me. I looked around the closet some more before finally walking out to the bathroom.
I had my very own bath tub which made my heart smile, taking a bath was one of the things I was going to do before anything else. I said to myself making a mental note to myself.
I finally went back to my room and sat on the well spread bed that had Egyptian sheets, "This people really do live like royalty huh?!" i said almost to myself but loud enough for Alba to hear.
"You have no idea." she said smiling.
"Can I ask you a question Alba?" i said sitting in a position that faced her.
"Sure." she said and for a second I saw worry in her eyes, just for a second and then it was gone.
"Why did I not see any of Ace's stuff in the closet or bathroom, not even one thing?"
"That's because he has his own room."Alba said politely.
" Oooh, we are not going to share a room, I thought… " i started but immediately shut up.
" He requested for you to be put in your own room, but his room is right next to yours and this door, " he said pointing to a door I hadn't really cared about, " leads to his room, but he is the only one that has the key."
"And do you know where Mr Cole is now?" I asked her getting up.
"He will be home soon, that's all I know." she said smiling.
"Have you known him for a while?" I asked, I knew I was being nosy but I needed to know anything about him. He was still a stranger to me, and now I was living at his house.
"I have known him since he was a boy." Alba said proudly, "I changed his diapers, he was such a calm baby, such a good and kind boy"
I smiled at that, "You never thought of leaving?" I asked genuinely wondering.
"I left, but he hired me back when he got this place." she said smiling.
I didn't say anything, just stared into space.
"He is a good man you know." Alba said after a few seconds of silence. "takes after his mother."
His mother. I had read columns and blogs about his family, but never once about his mother. It was like she didn't exist at all. He never talked about her and no one knew who she was.
"So you know who his mother is the?" I asked with interest.
Alba looked at me and I could tell she knew she had already said too much by the guilt written all over her face.
"I will go start on dinner before Ace gets home." she said, she quickly left my room, gently closing the door behind her leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I was all alone in this huge room, I was about to undress when I saw the most valuable asset of the room. The window.
I walked over and immediately fell in love.
You could see absolutely everything from up here, but most importantly the city light and the sun setting.
There were men in black suits scattered all over the compound. Ofcourse if you are going to live like the president , you might as well have enough security to protect you. I thought to myself.
I walked back to my bed and lay there for a few minutes looking up at the ceiling. I had no idea how long I laid there, but the next time I woke up was to the sound of a man.
"I see you are settling in okay." he said in a crispy dark voice.
And I immediately sat up, suddenly feeling the air not enough for the both of us.
"How did you get in here?" I asked confused looking around, "I thought I closed the door."
"This is my house, remember?" he said confidently.
"Well, your father's but whatever you say." i said and immediately regretted my comment when I saw how he looked at me. He looked like the images of him in the internet on the articles about how badass and merciless he is.
"Don't insult me in my own home, I will let that little comment slide for now but don't think that next time I will be so lenient." he said still with his expressionless face.
"I am so sorry your highness, I did not mean to offend you." i fired back before I got up and started walking to the bathroom, "close the door in your way out." i shouted before walking into the bathroom.
I hated him.
But why did I suddenly feel this heavy lump in my throat?
I turned on the water to hot and stripped before I stepped into the shower. The hot body soothed me as I balled my eyes out.
I had not seen him since the night we signed the papers and he dropped me off at a college in Amsterdam.
From time to time, I thought about him. I knew we were strangers, but I alwyas wondered if he thought about me at all.
I cleaned my eyes and turned off the shower before I walked into the bath and dipped my whole body underwater.
"Cyn are you crazy? Are you trying to drown yourself?" Ace shouted as he lifted me up from the water startling me.
"Put me down Ace." i protested throwing my legs against the air. " i was not drowning myself I was just relaxing." i said as he heads back to the bedroom.
That's when I realized I was butt naked, when he gently put me down.
My hands immediately went to my crotch area and chest area as color left my cheeks and turned red with embarrassment.
" There is nothing you have, I haven't seen before." he said walking back to the bathroom smugly. A few seconds later he popped out with a towel and tossed it to me.
"Don't do that again Cyn!" he said it more of a command than a statement.
"What do you care?" I fired back and, my voice suddenly became groggy as tears filled my eyes.
"Hey, hey, what's wrong?" he said immediately coming to me as he embraced me, "It's okay, you are okay." he said hugging me as he patted me in the back.
I felt his dick harden, and my whole body got excited. His scent was so manly, so masculine, as he held me in his arms and I felt his hard chest and huge arms. For a moment in those big arms, it felt as if everything was going to be okay.
He held me in that position for a few seconds, before his phone started vibrating in his pocket disrupting our perfect moment.
He immediately let go off me and fished out for his phone out of his pocket.
"I have to take this." he said excusing himself, before he left the room.
Cyn. "Good morning Cyn." Alba said from the door smiling. I loved her, she reminded me so much of my mother. "Good morning Alba," I said smiling back. " I have never slept so comfortably in my life." i said excitedly as I got off bed and walked over to draw the curtains of my window. "It's such a beautiful morning Alba, I think I might go for a swim." "Oooh no," Alba said stopping me "Whats wrong?" I asked confused. "You can't go swimming today." "But why not Alba, it's a beautiful day." "Because you have a gala to attend with Mr Cole. He is going to introduce you to the world as his wife." "Oooh." i said with lack of a better word. "So let's get you to look like a princess, shall we?" Alba said smiling as she took my arm. After spending over four hours this morning getting myself ready for this gala, the nerves were starting to come in now. I looked different, so different I was having a hard time recognizing myself in the mirror I looked at my reflection in the mi
Cyn. The gala was hardly the intimate affair had imagined it would be. When he said he wanted to introduce me to the world, I thought it was going to be an intimate thing.. There were at least two hundred of Manhattan’s most elite social movers in attendance, and it made it hard for me not to be grateful for the dress I had chosen. If Ace hadn't bought me the shoes and dress, I would be definitely dressed for the wrong event. The dress was too short and too tight for my taste, especially with the almost no back, and with everyone's attention on me, but judging by the similarly bedecked Barbie dolls that were hanging on their date’s arms the look was par for the course.Ace gave the stunning, reed slim hostess a kiss on both cheeks before putting his hand on my back and heatwaves shocked my whole system as he introduced me“This is my wife Cyn, Cyn, this is Caroline Vance. She is the chairperson of all the House charity.”“Nice to meet you.” i shook the other woman’s perfectly manic
Cyn.I tried to quiet the pounding of my pulse. I looked at the couples on the dance floor, their bodies entwined as they moved in a rhythm that seemed far too…sexual to simply call it dancing.Ace trained his bright white smile on me, but this smile was different than any other he had given me before. It was almost predatory. He extended his hand.“Dance with me.”Not a question, a command. And for some reason a thrill ran through me rather than the anger that I had expected, needed. Something about him was breaching my defenses, softening me to him. He was surprising me. He wasn’t just a shallow playboy, and I had been much more comfortable with him when si had been able to just write him off as such.I accepted his offered hand, hoping he didn’t notice that my own was damp with perspiration, and allowed him to lead me onto the dance floor. Not smart. My practical inner voice was all but screaming at me not to do it, I had two left feet.Necessary, i countered, ignoring the churning
Cyn.The wedding had become sort of much anticipated society event, despite how little time had passed between the announcement and the actual ceremony or maybe because of that reason. I couldn’t help but think that the haste of the marriage was part of what made it interesting.I felt half the eyes in the historic church examining my flat stomach speculatively as i walked down the long aisle. The air was heavy with the perfume of flowers, compliments of my overzealous wedding planner, and the late afternoon sun streamed through a round stained glass window, throwing squares of blue light onto the stone floor. It was a beautiful wedding. But it was someone else's wedding. None of it was to my taste except for my simple earrings, everything else was custom made. I raised my eyes and looked at my groom, waiting for me at the head of the aisle. I had never seen him look so handsome. His tuxedo was black and well fitted, showing off broad shoulders and a tapered waist. He was in fantast
Ace.I clenched my teeth. The images that statement evoked were so erotic i nearly hauled her slippery body out of the tub so i could show her just what I could accomplish while she was naked and dripping wet.I had thought that by walking in on her bath i could remove the mystery, and in so doing remove some of her allure. But far from it. The hints of peachy skin I could see beneath the water had me hard andwanting her with a ferocity that shocked me. Her attempts to cover herself had pushed her cleavage higher above the surface of the water, and i was having trouble tearing my eyes away so that i could look at her face when she talked. I had seen plenty of naked women before, plenty of beautiful, naked women. Why should this one bespecial? She shouldn’t be. But she was.“Fine, I will wait for you in the living room.” I said walking away. CynAs soon as he left the room, i scrabbled out of the tub. I wrapped a towel around myself and cautiously peeked into my room. After I had v
Cyn.The vibrant colour of the island rushed up into my vision as the plane began to move closer to the viridian land. The trees were so dense i could hardly see the runway, and it felt as though the plane was going to crash into the thick palms and kukuis that lined the coast.“It’s so beautiful,” i said almost to myself looking at the beautiful small island from above the sky.Ace barely looked up from his laptop. He was sitting across from me in a captain’s chair that was adjacent to the small love seat i was perched on.That man looked sexy as hell, with his reading glasses on. Is there anything that could make him look bad? He looked sexy doing the most basic things. His private plane was the size of my apartment, or atleast the apartment I lived in the past five years after i signed my life away and it was lavishly furnished. I had probably looked completely gauche when I had boarded the plane back in New York, my mouth hanging open as i took in theabsolute indulgence and luxu
Cyn. My heart stuttered. Images of twined tanned and lily white limbs flashed through my mind’s eye. Ace kissing me passionately, desire overwhelming us to the point that we couldn’t make it to the bed,Ace taking me gently to the floor, settling between my thighs…I blinked, trying to stop the erotic slide show that was going on in my mind. The look in Ace’s dark eyes told me that we were experiencing a moment of identical thought, and that was enough to bring common sense and sanity back.He might be married to me, but his heart belonged to another, he had made it very clear on the very first night we met. And I was pretty positive he was talking to her on the night of the gala, right after his head had been buried deep in my thighs. “Classy.” i sounded prissy even to my own ears.“Class is sometimes overrated. Particularly in the bedroom.” he said mocking me. The fact that he was always ready with some casual, off the cuff response was infuriating. I couldn’t hope to compete wit
AceI glanced over at her. Her expression was disapproving. A little line creased her alabaster forehead, and her mouth was pursed into an ungenerous pucker.“You have a problem with this?” i asked, entertained by her show of humanity.“It doesn’t really seem fair to just fire someone if they don’t get a BlackBerry charger to you in time.”"As an employer, I have to make sure my employees are up to my standards Cyn, and as my wife you will have to learn this things because sometimes I won't be around and you willhave to deal with them."The crease between her brows deepened. “I guess I’m a walking example of the lows one has to stoop to in order to make it in the business world.”He laughed darkly. “Just treat everyone the way you treat me and you will have no trouble being ruthless.”“There’s a thought.” she added sarcastically. I watched as her expression changed from one of recalcitrance to one of wonder. The car eased around the last curve and the villa came into view. The Ano La
