Chapter Eight

Cyn.

The vibrant colour of the island rushed up into my vision as the plane began to move closer to the viridian land. The trees were so dense i could hardly see the runway, and it felt as though the plane was going to crash into the thick palms and kukuis that lined the coast.

“It’s so beautiful,” i said almost to myself looking at the beautiful small island from above the sky.

Ace barely looked up from his laptop. He was sitting across from me in a captain’s chair that was adjacent to the small love seat i was perched on.

That man looked sexy as hell, with his reading glasses on. Is there anything that could make him look bad? He looked sexy doing the most basic things.

His private plane was the size of my apartment, or atleast the apartment I lived in the past five years after i signed my life away and it was lavishly furnished. I had probably looked completely gauche when I had boarded the plane back in New York, my mouth hanging open as i took in the
