ANDREA.TWO WEEKS LATER. Two weeks has passed since little Audrey left us for a better place. The pain of her loss was still there and I blame myself every day for not being quick, for not saving her on time. I nodded at her, and she smiled before taking my gaze back to Nicholas on the ground. “I forgive you, Nicholas. Yes, I forgive you and your sister because I know you weren’t there when that happened, all I need from you is for you to return my father’s pack to me.” I said. He answered quickly before I could even finish my words,“Take it, Andrea. You can take it because it belongs to you.”

Prologue. Sounds of footsteps and humming could be heard in the forest.
