Chapter Eighty Eight

ANDREA.

“Dante!!” I called out in panic and watched in horror as the witch’s light ball moved quickly to his direction. My heart was beating hysterically as I watched Dante look at the light in both shock and anger, but he didn’t move.

‘Come on, Dante,’ I urged in my mind as I whispered a silent prayer to the goddess.

I opened my eyes and saw Dante move quickly to the side, he growled and charged at the witch. I let out a sigh of relief and a tear rolled from my eyes when I saw he was okay. He killed the witch and the two others before facing me, he was breathing heavily, and my eyes roamed around his body, searching for any cut on his body and I gasped when I saw the huge injury on his back. My legs automatically carried me to his side, and before I knew it I was holding his hands,

“Are you alright?” I asked, searching his eyes for any sign of pain. But all I can see there was happiness, and relief.
