Chapter 10

Aiden,

The weekend has been a long one for me, busy and most especially noisy. I took it as an advantage to renew my wardrobe and run other errands I knew I wouldn't be able to do throughout the week.

Mom left one week ago, which gave me that liberty I had been missing.

My countenance was filled with surprise when I spotted Miller and Gabriel shopping in the same boutique as me.

"Aiden, is that you?" Gabriel stated. His grin widened as he watched me with surprise written all over his face.

"Yes, as you can see for yourself." I said firmly.

"Long time no see. How many years is that? That should be three years ago." He said, his face covered with smirks.

"Yeah! You are right, it's been three years." I said annoyance mixed in my speech.

Gabriel is an old friend from the university. We attended the same schools and even started a business together. That's when we were very young and naive. At that time, we were just trying to follow our parents steps who were all billionaires.
