Chapter 4 part 2

Matt was running through the forest in his wolf form, Zane taking control. Their anger was intensified as Matt's rage mixed with Zanes. He pushing them to run faster than ever, trying to control their boiling anger.

He felt twigs and stones sticking to the underside of his paws, poking and stabbing at his feet every time his paws touched the ground. Sand was flying out behind them as they ran with inhuman speed, dodging trees and leaping over bushes.

The wind was cold as it ripped through his long black fur, cooling his scorching skin. His muscles were burning from the running but Zane didn't let up, instead he pushed further, forcing them to go faster even as their back legs wanted to give out.

Matt wanted to reason with his wolf, try to calm him down, but Zanes rage mirrored his own and so he knew it would be pointless to try. They both couldn't handle the thought of Chloe being a victim of abuse, Matt kept trying to talk himself into any other conclusion that wouldn't include Chl
