Chapter 4 part 3

Once Matt got back to the house, he shifted back and went to his bedroom to put on Jean's and a shirt. He waited for his father outside the front of the house, leaning on the large oak door. The cobble stone of the dirveway glowed yellow under the street lamps and light that escaped the windows from inside the house.

Matt didn't have to wait long until he heard the roar of his dads truck just down the street and a few seconds later, the old gray truck came into view, the headlights blinding Matt slightly as James idled to a stop in front of the drive way. Matt jogged toward the truck, opening his fathers door before James got the chance.

“What did you find?” He asked while James scratched in the cubby, taking out a few papers and collecting the three books on the passenger seat. Once James had everything he wanted, he stepped out of the truck, slamming the door behind him.

“Not here,” he said, walking off toward the door of the house.

When they got to the front door, Matt opened it,
