Chapter 35: I'm Positive

Disguising my trip to the doctors as a girl’s day out with Lisa and Skye, I head out to my first appointment in hopes of finding out if I am pregnant or not.  Of course, Sebastian doesn’t question me one way or the other, he just rolls his eyes and goes back to reading in his den when I tell him about my plans.  “By the way, I already have plans for today.”

“Alright.  I will be sitting here reading when you return.” He hesitates and then says softer now, “By the way, don’t forget to pick up some mints in case you start to get queasy again.  My mom used to swear by them whenever I had a stomachache.”

Smiling, I head on out and drive to the doctor’s office.  As it turns out, it is on the far end of town.  That I didn’t know until I was almost late. 

Rushing into the office, I was quickly seated in a room and then the doctor walks in.  “Hello.” She
