Chapter 32: Making A New Friend
After getting through the rest of the night without scandal, I call Rosalee first thing after breakfast so Lisa can meet her. This being her only day off, I figured we could take them all out to lunch. “So, would you like to come to lunch with us?” I ask because this is one of the best ways to break the ice.
“Sure, but my niece is staying with me for a few days. Do you mind if she comes too?” She asks cheerfully, so I look between Lisa and Sebastian, incase they had a problem with it.
They both shrug and shake their head, and then I answer, “That sounds good to me. I can always use a new friend or two or three.” Before I hear her talking to someone in the room with her.
Smiling now, I ask, “Can we meet up at the Lilly in, say an hour?” I hesitate while I look down at my watch.
“No problem, we will be there. Thanks, by the way. It will make Skye’s day.&rdq
