Chapter 24: Hells Bells
“Why were you late Kaitlyn?” Mr. Sandhill asks with a wary look on his face and then looks up from me when Sebastian enters, and the door slams shut behind me.
“That’s my fault. Sorry.” He states quickly and then sighs.
He walks past me and then Mr. Sandhill turns and rushes to catch up with him. As I watch the two of them walk into Mr. Sandhill’s office, I wonder what they will be talking about today? Does it really matter?
Taking in a deep breath, I walk to my desk and then see Lisa staring at me. She whispers, “What was that about? I noticed you didn’t come in right away.”
Shaking my head, I remark softly, “He asked me to leave with him for good. I told him no and I don’t think he appreciated it.”

Waking up in Sebastian’s arms, I scan the room and find what I was looking for. Last night, after stripping off my clothes for bed, I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. Unfortunately, before I did, I had dropped my purse on the floor with my phone in it. Now, I must try and slip out from under his arms, so I can get to it.Struggling with his big, strong arms, I finally get him to release me before climbing out of bed.
