Chapter 21   Jason was running across the cemetery, following the lure of the ring Tiara had given him. He couldn’t explain exactly how, but the ring seemed to be leading him toward her. If he changed direction, the light of the ring would dim until he turned back in the right direction. Before long he could see tell-tale signs of Zachary’s work. One whole area of the cemetery was a smoldering expanse of… nothing. There were dips in the ground where trees had been burned right down to their roots and the places where grave markers had stood where nothing but small holes.
