Ella’s POV Hunter never came back that night and the feeling of abandonment filled my heart. Not just the abandonment of myself but also for the two pups that grow within my womb. My sleep was plagued with my thoughts as my mind ran with ideas of why he didn’t come back and then to Caleb and how I needed to talk to him. When morning came the next day there was still no Hunter. My father had already left for the packhouse, and my mother once again had no information to shed on the situation.
