41 when my time is up
Willow Christopher laid me on the bed, and I became nervous. I had died a virgin in my past life, but that wouldn't be the case now. I was happy but sad at the same time. I pushed aside my sadness and chose to enjoy the moment. Seven months was too short for me to spend it feeling miserable. He gently began to undress me, and soon, I was wearing nothing but my nude-coloured, lacy underwear. "Beautiful," He said, taking off his clothes. I had seen him shirtless countless times, but now he was mine. I watched his muscles flex as he undressed. I wanted to run my fingers through his perfectly sculpted body, but I waited for him to come to me. He leaned over me, filling my senses with his scent and driving me and my wolf crazy. "Christopher," I moaned. My body anticipated and wanted what he was about to give me. "I do not want you to hold back tonight." He said and crashed his lips on mine. His tongue probed for access, and I gave it and allowed myself to drown in the euphoria of

Willow We returned to the master's room in the pack house, and I remembered the times I would clean the place. The day Aida called me to the room to massage her feet and said a lot of nasty things to me. I honestly could not feel sorry for the bitch, but there was no point rubbing it in. I won. Christopher and I settled in easily, and everything came naturally to us. We spent a week mostly indoors. Christopher would go to the office to attend to some documents while I attended to stuff in the clinic briefly. Although Christopher did not want me to take up luna's duties because it would be stressful and it would mean we would spend less time together, I still managed to do some. It was time for me to rearrange the servants. Some of them needed promotion, while others needed to be reassigned. Just like Aida, it was my duty to get acquainted with them and determine if they were serving in the right place. Leeana was now my assistant, so she organised the meeting. People were un

Christopher. I was surprised when Mark mustered the courage to barge into my office. Love could make people do crazy things, and I could feel his fear. If I had doubts about Aaron not being Aida's biological father, what Mark told me Aaron wanted to use her for said it all. I also thought it was wrong for him to try to force his daughter away from her fate to marry her off to a madman. He had no right to do that. Mark and Aida had claimed one another, so he had no right to try to take her from mark and give her to Irvin, whoever that was. Apart from what Mark wanted me to do. I knew I needed to look into the matter because I doubted he was doing that to disband the group. I believe there was more to it than that, and I needed to know what he was planning. So I linked Garret to investigate. Willow and I were in our honeymoon phase, so we spent the entire week like rabbits, and I liked it. I had never felt this way in my whole life. I felt like a teenager all over again, and It fe

Willow. The Lycan kingdom was grand. I had never seen anything like it. My mother must have been intimidated when she arrived here to serve as their healer. I wondered what crime she committed that warranted the kind of treatment that she got. I looked like them; dark hair and dark eyes. They looked at me with respect, but I felt inferior. The women were beautiful, and the men were handsome. But none of them came close to my Christopher. When Christopher told me we would be having dinner with the queen, I was nervous because I was the daughter of the person they had hunted and killed. They had also tried to kill me too. It would be an awkward situation. When we arrived at the table and saw the man who kidnapped and almost killed me, I had to point him out to Christopher. I did not know the extent of Christopher's influence and authority until I saw the exchange between him and the queen. He had bent her will backwards, and she had caved. Beta William was angry at me, and I d

Willow. We stayed with the King for a while, and he was excited about the treatment I proffered. Christopher decided we shouldn't speak of it again until we were out of the Kingdom, and I respected his reasons. The queen walked in to check on her husband. "You are still here, Christopher?" She asked, sounding surprised that we were still with the King. "I asked them to stay," King Edward said, and she sighed. "You need to rest," She argued, and he shook his head. "I have been couped up here for too long. A lot is going on out there," He said, and the queen sat next to him and touched his forehead. "You need to rest, your Majesty," She said, and he laughed, coughing in between. "I will die anyway. I rather enjoy my time left living than spend it moping and taking drugs. In fact," he said and looked at her. "I will be going on a trip tonight. I will be spending a month away," He said, and the queen exclaimed. "You can't," She argued, and he frowned at her. "When did you start

46 The first step
Willow We left the bear kingdom in the morning. King Lucien wanted us to stray longer, but King Edward was too eager to start treatment. I knew he was bored of sleeping on his bed all day while being treated. We returned to the Rain pack and found a way to secretly keep the King in a small property away from the pack house. It was a small bungalow that Christopher visited to escape the stress of alpha duties. It was beautiful and well-furnished. There was no building close to it, so it was very isolated. We did not want any surprises, and we did not want people to know he was with us. Luis was made to guard the place, and he was eager to do it. Even though the people feared the Lycans, they loved the King. Christopher and I moved into the property temporarily, so there would be no suspicion. The pack members simply believed we wanted time alone. After we had organised King Edward's living arrangement, I called Leeana so she would join me to pick herbs. Christopher feared fo

47 By the lake
Christopher I joined Willow in her office to wait for the doctor. I haven't been to the luna's office since I married Aida. The last time I entered the office, I had no luna and wanted to renovate the place for Aida. Seeing Willow occupy the seat made my heart swell. "Should we go to the lake after we are done with the doctor? It is a beautiful night out there," I said, and she smiled at me. "Yes, I would love to," She said, and I relaxed in the chair. Even though we had so much to do, I did not want to miss any moment with her. Knowing she wouldn't be with me for long made me desperately want to spend time and build memories with her. I felt it was unfair to put her on a clock while we were allowed to live the rest of our days. If truly we all died, we should all be on a clock. It didn't make sense. I wasn't the one who determined what would happen in our world, but I hoped the goddess would make an exception for me this time. I stared at my wife as she attended to documents o

48 No To Aaron
Christopher Garret and I left for the meeting the next day. I was eager to get it over with. I wasn't looking forward to the topic of discussion, but if I refused to show up, it would be seen as an act of insubordination to the King. I pleaded with Luis to take care of my wife and keep the pack in order until I returned. We arrived at the venue, and King Aaron could not stand seeing me. I couldn't wait to get the meeting over with, but everyone called had to be present before we could start. Based on what happened with the poisoning, Garret and I chose to stay away from their food and drink and stuck to the water flask we had brought. Each with their own. Some alphas looked at me funny, but Aaron did not need to guess why I would do that. He had successfully poisoned me once; I wouldn't give him a chance to do it again. I was offered small bites and cocktails, and I outrightly refused them. Soon the alphas caught on, and some felt weird eating the food offered. When we were al

49 Why The Lycans Came
Willow, The treatment lasted about two weeks, and King Edward was feeling better already. It was a miracle. Realising I was right about him being poisoned did not sit well with him, and he was glad he listened to me. As for the silver in his system, it dissipated a week into treatment. King Edward was thrilled about his health; I could understand his joy. From thinking he would soon die to having a long life was enough to get him giddy. He also seemed fond of me and promised to give me a title in his court. I wished I could stay long enough to enjoy the promotion. It was sad that in this lifetime, I was only passing through, and I had just a few months to go. I hated thinking about it and just enjoying my life, but my life was so good that there were times I cried about it when I was alone. I was afraid to leave the people I loved behind, especially Christopher. I wonder how he will cope without me. It was a hard pill to swallow, but that was my life. We decided to watch a

50 I Was All Ears
Christopher Who could have imagined that Edward was Willow's father? She was the actual princess and the heir to the Lycan throne. Why didn't I know this in my first life? I would have thought to get her back to her father. Now that she was on borrowed time, I doubted it would help. The truth is, there was a possibility there wouldn't be a war if Edward had an heir, but Willow would not be around long enough to ascend the throne. Telling him the truth about his daughter will be hard. He did not take Leah's death well; how will he take it when I tell him that his daughter was also killed because of my stupidity and negligence, and she was living on borrowed time? It was a cruel joke, and I wished there was a way I could plead with the powers that be to restore Willow's life. I watched Edward hold on to his daughter, and my heart was broken. Fate had sent back the right wolf with the wrong conditions. Thanks to her speciality, she was able to save Luis and my life, and also sav
