When we arrived at his pack it was late, Erik didn’t talk to me or even look my way. He just went straight to his office when we got into the pack house. Andrew showed me where my room is. When I got back home last night I didn’t realize until this morning that I didn’t go to bed in my room. When Erik came down stairs to the living room I woke up to the thumping of his loud feet on the ground. Rolling over facing the couch, I was surprised by how much more comfortable it seemed than being in my bed right now.
