The clash

Marina's POV

I pleaded with my mother,

"Please stay."

Tears streamed down my face. As I begged for her with my eyes, I sniffled a little in terror.

"Sweetheart, I have to go. She kissed me on the forehead and then pulled back, a comforting smile on her lips, saying,

"You have to stay in here and don't come out until I come to get you.

She quietly locked the door after leaving by walking out.

In the hidden tunnel, I sat on the floor and rocked back and forth because there was nobody else in there to keep me company, I was already frightened.

I became alarmed when I heard screaming outside the door.

What if she suffered a setback?

I could just sit here and do nothing, but what could a six-year-old possibly do?

Running into the hallway, I didn't stop to consider it as I saw my mother surrounded by four wolves. She assessed them while remaining in human form.

She glared at me and implored me to go back into hiding, but all I did was stand there motionless, my eyes widening in terror.

Then it took place. She was suddenly assaulted by a wolf that bit into her neck from behind. As I remained motionless, a cry of dread escaped my lips, I remained stationary because I was terrified to move. From where I was standing, I could hear the sound of bones breaking as the wolf snapped her neck. The wolf released her and scuttled away.

Her lifeless eyes looked back at me as her body collapsed to the ground with a thump. I ran over to her motionless body and gave her a bear embrace. I didn't care that her blood was all over me. My face was buried in her chest as I sobbed uncontrollably, tears flowing down my face.

‘’No!” As I thrashed her body and screamed, tears continued to stream down my face.

I pleaded with her, shaking her body,

"Please come back to me." I pleaded, crying even harder.

"Mom, please."

"You are entirely to blame". My father roared and ran to his immobile partner. He sobbed while holding her body close to him.

"This is entirely your fault" he yelled.

“No! Not me. I did not do anything, father "

I stumbled and said.

"I did nothing." He bawled his fangs at me,

"This is all your fault." He yelled.

He comes over to me, and I flee in terror.

I covered my face with my small fists as he raised his hand and yelled as I sat up in bed, my body drenched in perspiration.

"I didn't do anything!" My spine tingled as I trembled in terror.

It was only a nightmare, and ever since that day, I've been having similar dreams.

Each time was distinct.
