Chapter Twenty
Cindy and I huddled together, partly for warmth and partly for comfort. The nights were cooling down as fall approached us and neither of us were dressed for it. Vampires felt the cold and the heat far less than humans. Out of all of the supernatural creatures, a fairy’s constitution most resembled the constitution of a human.
