Klaire's POV

Somehow, I knew our plan would succeed because our intention was pure and because we trust each other.

The day before the incident, it was Leonel who suggested it. His instinct told him that the council will make a move soon, and so we decided to make our own move ahead of them. None of us questioned his instinct because Leonel is known to have a sharp instinct.

Leonel and I will sacrifice ourselves and we will make the prophecy happen. Anne was reluctant to let go of the book first, but we convinced her that we'll get it back. And Nile and Samson were assigned to make the final move.

I witnessed how the weather changed and how the mansion is also affected. I watched silently as what's written in the prophecy happened one by one.
