CHAPTER HUNDRED AND NINETY FIVE.

Xavier gulped at her question and he raked his hand through his hair. He was definitely not expecting what she had just said.

He raked his hand through his hair as he stood up from his reclining chair and walked up to the large window that served as a wall in his office.

“What are you saying, Bianca?” He was completely lost for words.

“You like me, don’t you?” She asked from the other end, “I think we should get married, what do you think?

“Why are you suddenly saying all this, B?” He couldn’t help but ask, “did Nathan do something? Are you okay? Should I come over?”

She heaved a sigh from the other end and he realized she was just stressed out. His heart broke for a split second, he actually thought she meant it but she wanted to use him to get away from Nathan again. The mere thought of him annoyed me to the core of my being.
