CHAPTER EIGHT.

Bruno hastily sauntered into the conference room again and whispered something into Mrs Hernandez’s ears which made her nod before turning to the men in front of her.

“The president will video call us in a while, please be patient”

“Of course, ma’am” Mr Hillstone answered and she turned her attention to Bruno again.

“Let’s have a talk outside, Bruno”

“Yes, ma’am”

By the time they were in Nathan’s personal office, her mind was already going haywire.

What the heck was Nathan thinking? It was going to be a disaster if anyone ever found out about his condition.

“Why didn’t you try and convince him not to do this?”

Bruno was quiet for a while, he was also scared. He didn’t want his boss to be found out either but Nathan has always been someone who acted on his own. He was not one to listen to other’s opinions if it contradicted his.

“The president would have gone ahead with the call no matter what ma’am, we wouldn’t have been able to stop him”

“Give him a call now, I need to talk to him”
