The Woman With Amethyst Eyes

Lilith who was full of envy and resentment, obeyed no matter how much she dislikes it. The throne was promised to her long ago, even on the time Elspeth was already born, the crown was promised to her. Until Veronica was born, everything Hikaris have promised her was then dedicated to the woman with amethyst eyes: Veronica.

“Is everybody ready?” Taylor asked as she points her rifle on the exact angle to distract the guards.

“We are ready to engage, General.” Taylor’s team said in union.

“Remember, we are the distraction. The defense, aim for the arm and the knees, no blood should spill tonight. We are here to take the drive out of their hands, because if we don’t, well… it won’t happen, right, Lix?”

Felix who was waiting for Taylor’s sign grew inpatient and moved out of the shadows to attack, he spoke, “We are going to lose that file if you keep talking.”

Felix used his powers to turn into shadow and appeared from behind of four armed guards. “Good evening, do you mind?” He caught the attention of the four guards, and before they can attack, Felix was quick enough to attack them.

He punched their shoulders, stomach and kicked their knees. In a matter of seconds they were already on the ground coping with the pain, “such a show-off” Taylor went out of the bushes and took off her shades, “you know it’s better to have a plan right?”

“I know but… we’re on a hurry, so pull back your team and follow me inside, quickly.” Taylor shook her head and obeyed Felix.

The two of them entered the building and they were welcomed by a number of guards. “Go, I can handle them.” Taylor took out her ring swords and smiled at the guards as Felix moved his way and turned into shadow. “You guys like to dance?”

She moved flawlessly dodging every attack as if she was just dancing. She attacked them one by one on each arm and knee. Her bob hair bounced in the air as she leaps on each man blocking her way. When everyone was on the ground, grunting in pain, Taylor rolled her eyes and said, “I really thought this mission would be hard.”

“I guess I should have let Felix do this alone.” Taylor sighed and turned her gaze to the number of stairs and said, “I’m so glad I can fly.”

Felix moved to the top floor and he saw a lot of guards, more than a dozen in his estimation. “We’ve been waiting for you, Mister Thorn.” The man on the back said.

“Kill him.” The same man ordered.

A smirked painted on Felix’s lips. “You can try.” Together the guards attacked Felix. He took one of the guards by their arm, dragged it and tossed him to the others. Felix punched, blocked and dodged. He handled in so much ease against the odds of numbers he’s up against.

With so much ease, he finishes all his enemies and threw them down the building. He didn’t even have a single bruise on his body. He scoffed and shook his head, “This is so boring. I thought you guys are trained fighters?” Felix asked when he moved step by step to the man who stood in the back whose now shaking in fear.

“Give me the drive, and I’ll spare your life.” He said emotionless. He offered his hand, waiting for the drive to be given to him, but instead his palm was welcomed by a blade and Felix knew what the man was about to do.

He clenched the blade on his hand as blood slowly spill. “What a pity to you mortals. I would have showed you mercy and have given you a chance to change but, you leave me no choice. My blood is so precious and rare, you are so lucky to even hear it dripping to the ground.”

Felix took the blade from his palm and buried it to the man’s neck. “Now give me the drive.”

The man whose hand was already shaking took a flash drive from the pockets of his suit and handed it over to Felix. A grin then painted on Felix’s lips and then took out the blade on the man’s neck and then blood spilled out of his neck. Felix then jumped down to the ladder and passed by Taylor who was waiting for him on the first floor.

“Hey, mission accomplished?” Taylor asked and she can see the disbelief expression of Felix’s face.

“You were here the whole time? Why didn’t you help me?” Felix asked and shook his head.

Taylor tilted her head and narrowed her eyebrows before replying, “You do not have any bruises so assume you did well and you did the mission. My gut feeling is always right,” she puts her phone back on her pocket and smiled at Felix.

“Now we should go to Nuella Sangre, your father is looking for you.”

“Why?” Felix asked.

“Danger is near, he said.” Taylor replied.

Taylor gave Felix a nod and he responded with a nod as well. “We should go to Primo Luna first, give them this drive.” Felix said and walked pass Taylor who hasn’t agreed yet.

“Alright, alright, Mister Prince,” Taylor followed Felix outside the building through his car and together they went to Primo Luna to give them the drive.

A cold ice of silence filled the car as the two kept their mouth shut. That was until Taylor broke the ice. “So when will you stop womanizing?” She asked.

“That’s none of your business, Taylor…” Felix said so cold and dangerous.

Taylor turned to Felix and replied. “It is my business. You know your father is waiting for his grandchildren, and all you do is flirt with these women that aren’t even worthy of your attention!”

Felix stopped the car and yelled at Taylor. “Will you shut up?! I will do whatever I want and for your information I already stopped womanizing when I met her!”

Taylor was too stunned to speak that her jaw dropped.

“Who is she? What’s her name?” Taylor asked.

“I have no idea…” He sighed. “All I know is I saw her in my dreams, running barefoot on the grass, wearing a purple dress and her hair so neatly tied in a bun. She has the rarest eyes I have seen. Purple as amethyst, with a smile brighter than a thousand stars…” He added.
