Chapter 3

"Where is she?" In a large office, a man was sitting on the main chair.

A white band was wrapped around his head.

"I-I have no idea, sir. The last time I saw her was when you picked her up last night," the young man in his thirties who was also clad in a fine business suit said with a trembling voice.

He was Cristiana's manager, Alan Parisi. The best manager in New York, for him getting anything in the whole entertainment industry was a piece of cake. Yet the man was shivering in fear in front of Vincenzo.

"I even tried to find her with everyone she knew but none of them has any idea about her whereabouts," Alan added.

He didn't know what happened between Christiana and Vincenzo. He got a call from this political Mafia early in the morning at four am inquiring about the one and only artist he was managing at the moment.

And from then to right now at seven in the evening they were looking for Cristiana like hungry dogs. Yet the woman was nowhere to be found.

Clank!

Vincenzo threw Cristiana's phone on the table in anger.

The bi*sh didn't even take her phone with her, otherwise, she could be tracked.

In which crack the woman was hiding that he couldn't find her?

With each passing second, Vincenzo's anger was reaching a new high. His blood was boiling and the thought of possessing that woman again was making him go insane.

And the woman for whom he was flipping the whole city upside down was sitting in a large cage in the same city.

Cristiana was falling in and out of consciousness time and time for many hours.

The blood loss from her arms and having no food for the whole day have left her weak.

There was no way out of the cage and no one was even visiting her.

Slowly the silence around her was eating her up.

Cristiana was just about to slip into darkness when the silence of the room started to fill with the sounds of distant footsteps.

The girl slapped her face to wake up properly and craned her neck.

The thick iron door opened again and welcomed the sight of a devilish man.

"I hope you had a good time resting. Now it's time to get on the business," he said in his ringing voice.

"Go prepare her well. You have half an hour," the man said to two girls standing behind him in a maid's uniform.

"No, wait…," Hearing what he said Cristiana panicked.

"Don't send me to him and I can give you wherever you want," she yelled.

At her words, the man stood and turned around.

"Hmm, you think you can offer me more benefits than Vincenzo?" He asked indifferently.

"The way he is looking for you all over the city I can tell that he will be ready to exchange his fortune for you," the man turned around and his indifferent olive green eyes stared at her emerald green.

Cristiana was speechless at his words.

He was right, even if she gave him her everything it won't be a match to even one per cent of Vincenzo's.

Her silence confirmed her incompetency and the devil smirked and turned around to leave.

The maids walked over to help her clean.

"Wait….there is something that I can give you that no one else can,"

The devil had just set his foot outside of the door when he heard a woman's voice.

Her words piqued his interest and he turned around lazily.

Both the maids took a few steps away and took a position in the corner away from their master's eyes.

"And what is that?" He asked. He rested his torso on the side frame of the door and crossed his hands in front of his chest.

The woman was sitting inside the cage with her head lowered as if she was making up her mind on something.

Cristiana then slowly raised her hand and clutched the iron bar. She stood up to her full height.

She raised her head and looked up at him.

"He cannot give you the most beautiful woman in the world. He cannot give you me," she said each and every word clearly.

"The most beautiful woman?" Her words made him chuckle.

"Yes. I'm sure you can see yourself and if you don't believe what you see, you can always investigate. I've won the title of most beautiful woman in the world for the past four years. A former Miss World and the current Beauty Queen of the entertainment industry," Cristiana added.

She wasn't the strongest, nor was she the wealthiest. But one thing she was confident about was her looks and body.

She was the most beautiful woman not in this room but in most of the rooms. Someone who was hard to resist.

"Do you think I lack women?" The devilish man asked.

"You might not. But you are a man, won't you like to possess the finest one? Especially when you can get her without any effort," Cristiana smiled.

In the pale light of the old lamp fell on her beautiful face.

Even with dirt on her face and tangled hair, the woman looked dazzling.

She stood there with her 5'9 height which could rival many men's.

Her curvy figure was a perfect hourglass.

Her claims weren't fake.

She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

#####

"Hmm, so you want to become my woman, huh? But only beauty is not enough for that. What else do you have to offer?" He asked. His figure didn't move an inch from his position so Cristiana could see his expression.

She wasn't sure if her charm was working or not.

"Didn't you call me extraordinary for hurting Venzo? I'm brave enough to hurt the most powerful man in the country," Cristiana said.

Her words made him smile.

"What else?" He asked.

His words made her frown.

She had lots of money but she doubted that was enough for this deal. She needs something else.

"I'm still a virgin," when she couldn't think of anything else she blurted out.

"Haha, one point minus for that because I like experienced women," the man let out a laugh.

Her words made her panic. From where he stood he could see every passing emotion on her face but she couldn't.

And those furrowed eyebrows made him want to go ahead and ease them by rubbing her forehead.

"Experienced…is good but I'm still better. I don't have any experience of being with a man. You can take advantage of it and mould me as a woman of your liking," she finally came up with something.

She didn't know what she was blabbering but one thing she knew was that she had to stop him from selling her to Vincenzo. Because by selling herself to this man she might lose her virtue but if she fell into that beast's hand she will lose her soul and life.

Finally, her words gauge some reaction from him. He pushed himself to straighten up and slowly walked towards her.

"Are you so afraid of him that you are ready to sell yourself to me without knowing who I am?" He stood a few steps away from her.

With the big round hat he was wearing, Cristiana could only see half of his face and his thin lips moving.

But she was sure that under that hat was hiding the most handsome face she has ever seen.

"I can sell myself to even a butcher rather than falling in his hand again," she replied, her eyes mirroring the inner hate inside her heart for that man.

"So much hate. What is the reason?" He probed.

"You don't have to know that," she shook her head.

"Alright then I hope you don't regret this in future," he said those words and left the room.

"Wait, does that mean you accepted my deal?" Cristiana yelled but again the sound fell on deaf ears. To her relief both the maids, he brought with him also left with him.

And as soon as the metal door was closed her body fell to the ground like a lifeless doll.
