She Can't be Happy

Rachel's POV

"Please give my feet a good massage," I asked one of the omega who served me.

I was relaxing on the sofa on the second-floor balcony that evening. I called for two Omegas to massage my sore arms and legs.

After all, I had spent the whole day yesterday searching for the home address of Alpha Felix and Luna Yelena, my real parents.

Now, it was time to enjoy all the luxuries of this house I was supposed to live in.

“Dear, Mom and Dad are having an alliance meeting tonight. Do you want to come or wait at home?" asked Luna Yelena, whom I now call Mom.

"I'm not ready to mingle with your circle, Mom. Can I stay at home, or maybe I'd like to hang out at the mall if I'm allowed," I said.

My mother smiled as she rubbed my head, "Okay then, you can ask your sister Dasha to go with you."

I nodded and smiled reluctantly.

“Sister? Seriously, I should call her sister. We're not even related by blood. How annoying!" I grumbled to myself.

Meanwhile, I was enjoying the massage from the two Omegas. Suddenly, I heard the sound of a car driven by Alpha Felix arriving at the house.

I saw my father and Dasha getting out of the car, holding hands.

So happy to be Dasha. From childhood, she lived in luxury and also in the honor that should have been mine. In comparison, I had to live in poverty in the village of Celeya.

Every day, I had to work herding goats for one of the people. To earn money and buy food, it was not uncommon for my strict mother to scold me if I didn't bring home any money from my job.

"I want to ask, was my parents really love Dasha?" I asked the two Omegas who were with me.

One replied, "Of course, Miss Rachel. Miss Dasha was very lovely. Her wish is always fulfilled, but she is also a perfect and dutiful daughter."

"I see. Do you think I should be jealous of Dasha now?" I asked, trying to get them to be prejudiced against Dasha.

"It's only natural since you've been separated from Alpha and Luna since you were a baby. It would help if you had always been in Miss Dasha's position," they said, sounding pitiful.

I took advantage of the situation to tell them about my hard time in the village. The two Omegas listened intently, probably because they can related with my sadness. After all, they just some omegas who often look down upon by other ranks above them.

"I'm sorry to hear your struggles miss Rachel," one of the Omegas replied.

I just smiled with satisfaction. At least I had managed to influence one or two people. Then it would be easy to control the others.

My father's voice suddenly called me to the guest room on the first floor. I went there immediately.

I pretended to be humble by sitting on the floor while my mother, my father, and Dasha sat on the sofa.

"Hey, dear. Why do you have to be so humble like an Omega? You're our daughter," told Luna Yelena.

With a gentle smile, I stood up and slowly sat beside my mother. However, I was reluctant to act like this. All I was doing was appealing to her sympathies and undermining Dasha's position.

"Rachel, Dasha. Last night we discussed about the two of you, and as far as we are concerned, you are our daughters and have the same rights. That is why we hope that you can get along, love and help each other," my father explained to Dasha and me.

Dasha and I nodded, but I could see that the girl was uncomfortable with what Dad had just said.

"I am pleased to be accepted in this family. I lived in misery in the village all this time. I'm sorry if my words and attitude are a little different from yours because I was raised like an Omega," I said with a sad look.

My mother then gently rubbed my shoulder, "Don't worry, dear. You have Dasha as your sister. She will help you learn how to live in the Blue Moon Pack. I think both of you can be a loving sibling for each other!"

"Is that true, Dasha?" I asked the girl, who was silent and just nodded.

"Gladly," she replied.

"Mom, can I have a room like Dasha? Or can I have nice clothes like her? I've only had shabby clothes like this all this time," I said.

My father replied with a smile, "Of course, whatever you want. Just tell us, don't be shy!"

I was happy to hear that. At least my life is would be better now. I would continue to try to shaken Dasha's position because she had taken everything away from me.

"That's right, Dasha. Rachel also told me that she wanted to go to the mall tonight. She's still shy about coming with us to the Alliance event. Can you take your sister for a walk and pick out some nice clothes for her?" my mother asked Dasha.

The girl nodded while I thought of a plan that would make her feel tortured by me later.

My parents were preparing for the Alliance meeting in a few hours. Meanwhile, I waited in her room for Dasha to finish getting dressed.

Suddenly, I had an idea to create more chaos. I deliberately stood before my mother's favorite huge flower vase of flowers to blame Dasha.

The girl suddenly came out of her room and asked me to depart immediately. I pretended to accidentally bump Dasha's body, which was now right next to my mother's favorite flower vase.

Immediately, the vase fell down the stairs and broke. I saw my mother and my father running over to us after hearing the crashing sound of the vase.

"Oh My Goodness! My favorite vase," my mother screamed.

I saw the look of panic on Dasha's face, of course, I took advantage of it and acted as if it wasn't my fault.

"Who dropped it?" my mother asked suddenly.

"Dasha. I told her to be careful, but she was in a hurry," I lied to her.

I saw that Dasha was shocked and panicked even more. I laughed inwardly at this game.

"No, Mom, I was pushed by Rachel. She almost slipped and grabbed me, and then my body accidentally moved the vase," Dasha said, trying to defend herself.

"Oh my Dasha It's okay, you don't have to lie to me. I won't get mad at you. I just worried both of you would get hurt because of that."

"But, mom!" said Dasha.

My mother chimed in again, "But I hope you would be more careful next time. I feel sad, though that vase was a present from the Elder of Golden Wolf Alliance on my birthday, and it's kind of rare."

My mother actually believed what I said. It must be because I'm the real daughter, She thought Dasha was lying to her. What an accomplishment, I successfully put Dasha in the corner.

"I'll help you find a suitable replacement, let's go, Yelena. The event starts in an hour, and you know our trip is quite time-consuming, right?" said my father, who calmed my mother.

They finally went to the Alliance event. At the same time, Dasha and I still stood there in places.

"Rachel, why did you slander me and give Mom a false report?" Dasha scolded me.

"How does it feel to be pressured, distrusted, and slandered? Doesn't it hurt? Huh," I said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Dasha asked me again.

"This is the price you have to pay, Dasha. All this time you've taken away my position and never have to struggle in your life like i did. I can assure you, this is nothing. Just look how I will take everything from you and eventually they'll kick you out of this pack!" I scolded Dasha with a sarcastic.
