Chapter 17 - Torture part 2
Chase POV
“Dad, please make it stop”, Colt shouts as we both lay down on the floor, holding on to our stomachs. I take a deep breath, and I stand on one knee as dad looks at us with wide eyes. “What is going on? What are you feeling?” dad asks as he bends down next to us.
“Dad, she needs us”, I say, and dad nods his head as he helps us up at the same time as we feel a sharp pain in our legs. Colt twists in pain, and I feel my stomach twisting. Fuck, are we feeling the same as Arya?
“Just tell her what she wants to know”, I think to myself, hoping that Arya will do what she has to. Please, babe, tell her everything she wants so we can all be together.
I feel Asher retreating to the back of my mind as everything goes dark. I can hear Colt screaming in agony as dad calls mum’s name. I can’t open my eyes. I feel like I am being taken down a rabbit hole, and I don’t know what is happening.

Arya POV The stabbing keep happening and I can’t move, the pain is slowly killing me. Why am I not fighting back? Colt POV “Stay the fuck away from me, I Arya reject….”, Arya says, but Chase runs to her and collapses his lips on hers. I walk behind her and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her close to me, my heart beating fast as my wolf cries because of her words, words that Chase didn’t let her finish. Her warmth against mine sends a thousand jolts to my body as I feel her pulling us away.“Stay away from me, you psycho”, Arya says as she runs. I can’t stand being away from her, so run after her to have Chase grabbing my arm making me stop. “She will come back”, he says and I look at him placing both my hands on his shoulder and shoving him away from me. “How do you know? You just let out mate go, where is she going?”, I ask shouting at him as my mind goes cloudy for being away from Arya, I need her close, I need to touch her again. Arya POV I was walking for hours, and when I looked around, I was at the pack's border, the north border. I close my eyes and take a deep breath as I cross the border. As soon as I do so, I feel Silver twisting and howling inside of my head, and she is not happy that we are leaving our mates territory. I fall on my knees, grabbing my head as a severe pain attacks my body. I had never felt a pain like this before, it's as if my soul was being ripped out of my body. I stand up slowly as Silver moves into the back of mind allowing me to enjoy my pain alone. I wasn’t able to go see my dad, it’s not that I believe on what they said, but I just can’t be around any of them right now, I can’t be surrounded by pain, lies. Chase POV “Come on, and you can do better”, Aries shouts at me as I try to escape from his blows to my torso. I have been focusing a lot more on my fighting. Losing Arya has made me go completely insane, and here, in the fighting rink, is the only place I can be myself and allow my body to take over my mind. Colt has been focusing on learning more about computers and that crap, and he thinks he will be able to track her down. She barely owned a phone, and she hated technology, almost as much as I do. I take a deep breath, passing my hands through my hair, pulling my sweaty strands away from my eyes, and that’s when Aries applies a blow to my ribs that make me flinch. Arya POV “Arya, hun, there’s someone here to see you”, I hear Nana shouting from the house and I freeze, They found me? I look at the house focusing as much as I could remembering all the training I have been receiving. I close my eyes and I imagine myself inside the house and I can sense one person in the house, I don’t feel the mate bond. I open my eyes and look up. I am bleeding from my nose. I clean it with the back of my hand and slowly I walk to the house. Is it crazy that I feel disappointed that is not them? I know that Nana wouldn’t let just anyone in her house, this person needs to be close to her, or be someone she trusts, Nana is a spiritual wolf, she can sense people’s true intentions before they are even in front of her. Arya POV I close my eyes shaking my head, I can’t believe what I am hearing. “No. That’s not possible”, I say standing up and walking around the room like I have gone insane.
