CHAPTER SIX

I rolled over and faced Javier, who was snoring obnoxiously loud. I rolled over and tried to go back to sleep. But despite my desperate trying, I couldn’t. 

“Javier.” I shook him. “Javier.” 

“¿Qué Pasa? Huh?” He sat up abruptly. 

“Your snoring is interrupting my sleep.” 

“Oh, I’m sorry.” 

“It’s fine.” 

“Ugh.” He moaned. “what time is it.” 

“It’s ten am.” 

“Shit, I’m late.” He got up. 

“Do you want me to make breakfast?” 

“No stay in bed, I’ll make breakfast when I get out of the shower. Would you like to join me?” 

“No thanks, I think I just close my eyes for a little bit more.”

“Okay.” He kissed my forehead and headed and headed into the bathroom. 

I laid back down and put the covers over my head. Not even five minutes later, the door opens. I am pulled from the bed by my ankles. A cloth bag is placed over my head. 

“Javier!” I screamed. 

 I heard something crash
