Chapter 7

I sucked in a breath as his eyes met mine, our gazes locked as he slowly approached. It reminded me of the night I met him, of the things he did to me. The things I did to him. I shuddered. His gaze was predatory, burning me with its heat. And damn if he didn’t look delicious. His tall form struck quite the form in a well-tailored suit jacket, a deep slate grey that seemed to shift colors as he moved; he wore it unbuttoned, a white crew neck T-shirt underneath which only served to highlight his dark features. His pants were black, and I couldn’t tell if they were jeans or slacks, tapering to his ankles in a very flattering form fitting way. His shoes were slick, black dress loafers and I swear my mouth watered looking at him, my body responding to him on a physiological level. I swallowed my coke, hard; and swiveled my chair to the bartender, breaking my gaze.
