9: Friend's Visit

Isabel knew that Patrick had been continually talking about marriage, even though he was engaged to Willow. She had actually seen photos and videos of their engagement online and wondered what had gone wrong between them.

Isabel had wanted to ask Patrick about it over the phone, but knowing how troublesome her younger brother was, she decided against it to avoid angering him further.

As for Loveth, Isabel had only sent her there to take care of her mother. She was surprised to hear from their mother that Patrick had carried their new maid in his arms when she got injured.

Isabel sighed and returned to the kitchen to continue cooking in her home downstairs. She loved cooking for her husband, even though they were rich, they had no maid.

Meanwhile, Patrick stared at the magazine covers in his hands for a while and was satisfied with the new designs that Ava Adams had brought to him. He stamped some of them and then walked back to his executive office seat to email Ava the designs he had
