Mother's Sadness

"Good morning mother." Patrick greeted his mother as soon as he stepped out and walked into the living room and meet her standing by the entrance leading to the dinning room and Mrs Eleanor asked him, "Son. How was your night?."

"Fine mother." Patrick replied as he smiled to his mother sweetly and approached her and gave her a warm hugged.

Mrs Eleanor was previously angry that Patrick had spent some several days out, sleeping at the hotel, but when he approached her and kissed her forehead, all her previous anger vanished and she calmed by his cold lips touching her forehead.

"Son. How about Sonia, was she with you up at your chamber?" Asked Mrs Eleanor, as she was still worrying about Sonia and hadn't seen the pretty young lady since she stepped out.

"No mother." Patrick frowned.

"Isn't she in her room?" Patrick asked and just then Kelvin walked into the living room as he had been waiting for the Andersons family to woke up.
