Chapter 13 ~ Cried Her Eyes Out

Willow sobbed in the downstairs living room, consumed by her lingering feelings for Patrick.

She angrily scolded the maids for peeping and staring at her from the kitchen and passage leading to the laundry room.

"Why is everyone staring at me?" Leave me alone! She let out a loud cry and quickly curled up on the couch, tears streaming down her face.

Patrick stepped out of the elevator onto the fourth floor, his anger simmering. He couldn't believe how much he now despised Willow, and how she had used his mother against him. He considered their new maid and her angry avoidance of him. To confirm he hadn't acted foolishly, he decided to review their security footage.
