Sofia's POV.

That was my wolf speaking. We were both confident and full of tenacity and I dare say defiance, but this man was nothing like just confident or a high-handed Alpha, but he was also callous.

I knew this from the first day I met him. I had bad feelings about him, but one can't judge based on instincts but by their words and actions.

Both his actions were creepy and his words. They carried cruelty in them, and it was horrifying that a person like him could rule over people.

I felt disdain instantly for him; When I heard the rumors at first, I thought that those hearsays were false and based on people's jealousy over his rulership. I was wrong because the people's opinions, even though static, were true.

I heard about how he punished rogues, prisoners and ruled over his people with a hardened heart and ruthlessness, but what I was seeing proved those assumptions right.

I sighed and turned my gaze to him, and he was still smiling and smirking. I wanted to wipe that smug
