Grant's POV I walked with my mate outside to where the competition was being held on the training grounds. We were directed into a tent where her grandparents stood. Three months Later.Kari's POVI sat on the rocking chair in the nursery feeding our twin daughters, Astra Eliza and Carita Merida. Claire and Chloe were sitting in the other two with their own pups. Claire and Reuben had their little heir, Maximus. He was four weeks older than my twins and Chloe and Magnus had a little girl called Eevi. I was so glad we had all had our pups at the same time, they would be able to grow up together. Joshua was sitting at my feet whilst my other five pups ran around causing havoc, their nannies trying to settle them. Joshua was still my little shadow, but I loved how attached he was to me. Kari's POV I had a sudden feeling that I was being watched. Opening my eyes, my eyes locked instantly with a pair of bright blue ones, a giggle escaped the owner of those eyes. "Good morning Heather." I smiled at the little munchkin. "Heather." Came Ingrid's voice. "Aunty Kari needs her sleep." "It's OK Ingrid, I'm awake." I chuckled, pulling the little girl into a tight hug, and making her giggle. I tickled her to extract her hysterical laughter. Ingrid smiled at me. "Are you all ready for today?" Grant's POVI held out a hand for Kari to take so I could help her out of the carriage. We had arrived back outside of the palace and were about to return to our guests for our reception. We had spent half an hour touring the town, thousands of wolves had come out to celebrate our wedding and see us as we passed through. I couldn't believe the support we had. Kari's POvThe pups were all in bed, although it had taken us ages to get them to sleep, as they were all excited about the fact it was their birthday tomorrow and all their friends and our families would be here to celebrate with them. When they had finally gone to sleep, we left them under the care of Olga, their Nanny, and went down to the ballroom which had been transformed. The room had been split into six, with each of their favourite things decorating the area. Matthew was a fan of all things stars and space, so the wall was covered in glow-in-the-dark stars, and hanging from the ceiling were the planets, the sun and the moon surrounded by strings of lights with stars hanging from them. Kari's POV 350 Years later. I watched over my brood as the Ceremony for my Great Great Great Grandchild and his new mate was completed. They would be taking over the Kingdom from their Mother and Father soon. It was time. It was time for me to move on to my next task. I have had an enjoyable life, but having lost all those close to me other than my children, I was ready to leave the Earth, and the Moon Goddess was ready for me as well. I felt a gaze on me and saw my eldest looking at me from where I stood on the balcony over the ballroom. He had a look like he knew something was a miss. I smiled at him. My Grand parents had both passed away when I was 150. They had both decided it was time for them to join my mother, and I knew they were happy to be there with them all. A week ago, if you had told me that the world as I knew it was all a lie, that all of the fairy tales that my father used to tell me at bed time were actually not fairy tales and that all these supernatural beings, such as vampires, shapeshifters, fairies and dragons, were actually real, I would have laughed at you until I had peed myself and then called the men in white coats to come and get you. Now, a week later, as I am in the middle of a forest standing by the most beautiful lake I have ever seen, surrounded by wolves in various sizes and colours, and a number of very large, very muscular and very, very naked men, I am starting to think that maybe it is I, who is in need of the straight jacket and padded room and a hell of a lot of medication and sedatives as i am pretty certain i have completely lost the use of all my faculties and you are soon going to find me sat in a corner, rocking back and forth and talking to myself as none of this is making any sense to my primitive brain
