Chapter 10

That night, I had trouble sleeping, although it had nothing to do with the bed. The bed was gorgeous and big, with soft white cushions and a dark purple blanket. But I slept restlessly that entire night as I laid there. I couldn't fall asleep, and the jerk down the hall was to blame.

I wanted desperately for him to like me, want me, and fall in love with me, but I didn't dislike him at all. I really wanted to blame him for it because he had made it plain that he wouldn't, but instead, it only made me more needy for his desire for me. I desired levi's desire for me.

I got out of bed and went downstairs when it was three in the morning and I still couldn't sleep due to tension. I didn't switch on any of the lights while I took in the lovely inside of the house.
