FREYA My heartbeat slowed in relief as I saw Draven before me. I had no idea how he got here, but I couldn't care less. If he had been any later, I might have been lying in a pool of my blood by the time he finally arrived. FREYA My heart throbbed in panic as the ferocious-looking wolves advanced towards me. They were four in number; all lean, brown and hungry looking, like they'd managed to escape from a cage where they were locked for months. DRAVEN I was outside talking with my men and putting them in order when I felt the aura emanating as a result of the name ABBADON being said out. FREYA A deep root of fear gripped my heart as Draven said those words. He was going to make me regret running away from him. But why? FREYA I tried to scream and wiggle against the strong arms around me but it was useless. I couldn't make out my surroundings as my view was clouded with darkness. Freya's eyes opened and slowly adjusted to the room's brightness. She squinted and tried to get up from the cold floor where she lay, her head hammering like a train was running through it. She felt weak—weaker than she had been in her entire life. And the worst thing was that she barely remembered anything that happened.
